RCCI Construction fills site with equipment & workers.
Following nearly 6 years of dedicated effort to make the Field of Dreams vision a reality. Construction began today! The FASA executive board was on hand to welcome some very special guests that included Senator Bryce Reeves, Gary Skinner, several members of the Spotyslvania County government, original FASA board members (from the 1970's), FASA coaches, team managers, directors and yes....the most important part of our family...... Countdown to home opening double-header for Hotspur PDL and Impact W-League. Both play at UMW Stadium on Saturday May 19th. Our game sponsor - Kellogg's - is providing FREE ADMITTANCE for everyone!! The Hotspur team had an very impressive 3-2 opening season victory against rival No. Va. Royals. Check out their website (click here) for all of the exciting details. They will face their other intra-state rival, Virginia Beach, at 5:30 PM.
The Impact will play at 2:00 - and this will be the first game of the season against the No. Va. Majestics. The Impact will once again feature several local stars.

FASA announces Travel / Select tryout dates for Fall 2012. Being selected to a FASA team offers the unique opportunity to play for one of the largest clubs in the state and the chance to play in one of the top three / most competitive soccer leagues in the region! FASA teams compete in the VCCL (Virginia Champions League), WAGS & NCSL. FASA has a professional coaching staff and an outstanding player development program that has sent over 30 FASA players onto college teams over the past two years. Our proven college recruiting program cotinually sends between 10 - 20 every year. Numerous FASA teams have advanced to the elite 8 - final 4 - and championship match in Virginia State Cup play overthe past several years. Click Here for tryout information. FASA U12 Impact Elite moves on to Final Four in Virginia State Cup Play! The U12 Impact Elite moved in the Final Four with an fantastic overtime 3-2 win against McLean REAL Green at Dixon Park in front of a great FASA home crowd! They will face VYS Black on Saturday May 19th, 2:00PM at Hampton Roads Soccer Complex - one win away from a trip to the state championship match! Click Here to go to the U12 website. A huge congratulations also goes out to the U13 Impact Elite that advanced to the Elite Eight, dropping a close match to SYA Red on the 5th. It was a very impressive performance and a great accomplishment getting to the top 8 teams in the state!
FASA announces major partnership with Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center This new partnership with the Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center will provide professional athletic trainers at all FASA PDL & W-League games; both weekends of the Fredericksburg Cup Tournament held in August; and all Super Y and Virginia Champions League (VCCL) home league games. FASA announces thirteen (13) 2012 Grads that will be playing soccer in college! Once again, FASA is sending a large group of high school seniors on to college soccer careers! FASA has a proven college recruiting program and has been placing numerous players onto college teams consistently for many years. There are additional seniors making decisions - and more announcements coming. Incredible opportunity for players to train with eight college coaches in a unique four day camp format. There will be a maximum of 40 players that will be accepted for the camp. All players must be high school age (U15 & up). Players must apply and be accepted (for application/registration details - click here).
FASA Announces Summer Camps
FASA Hotspur & Impact Summer Soccer Camps will be managed by the FASA professional training staff. Multiple Hotspur & Impact PDL & W-League players will be on hand at each camp session and will serve as the camp clinicians. Many of our PDL & W-League players are from top NCAA Division 1 College & Universities. Our PDL roster includes former professionals which have played in the MLS, Bundesliga, Mexico along with multiple foreign youth national team players. Click Here for all the exciting details!
